ROCKWALL, TX (Feb. 19, 2015)The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to recognize Sheila Hair, Vice President and Co-Owner of My Computer Guy, as its Ambassador of the Month.
Sheila graduated from Texas Christian University in 1994 with degrees in Communication and Marketing. As Director of Marketing for My Computer Guy, Sheila is responsible for public relations and community outreach. Currently, Sheila serves as an Ambassador and is part of the Rockwall Chamber Partnership Committee for the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, and Secretary for both the Rockwall Area Networking Group and Hope Arena (therapeutic horse-riding program). Sheila served on the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 2010 to 2013 and participated in the Leadership and Selection Committees for the Rowlett Chamber President, Diane Lemmons. In addition, Sheila worked with Diane to plan and organize the first QUAD Mixer for the Rowlett, Rockwall, Royse City, and Fate Chambers in 2012, 2013 and again in 2014.
Sheila served on the American National Bank Rockwall Community Development Board in 2012 and 2013. In addition, My Computer Guy has partnered with RISD through the Project Based Learning Internship Program, Job Shadowing, and the Career Academy Action Team.
Sheila is a graduate of Leadership Rockwall class of 2009, honored as the Ambassador of the Year in both 2009, 2010 and 2014, and was recognized with the Spirit of Rockwall award in 2010.
In Sheila’s spare time, she enjoys riding horses, working with charities that benefit children and animals, and teaching and volunteering using her graduate “A” skills she earned through the United States Pony Club as a mentor and educator.
