(ROCKWALL, TX – March 29, 2015) Blue Ribbon News staffers were invited to the home of Michael and Tania Favrot recently to speak to the young men in the Bear Den of Pack 2125, based out of Nebbie Williams Elementary School.
The third graders posed many thoughtful questions as they learned about news gathering and reporting, editing, layout and design, and publishing. The Cubs were especially intrigued by the printing process, and they even calculated the total number of copies Blue Ribbon News has printed since the publication launched over three years ago – about 496,800! The Cubs will now earn their “Information, Please!” Achievement.
