ROCKWALL, TX (March 1, 2015) This week’s limited-release of an award-winning film, The Drop Box, will inspire churches and those interested in ministry to the disabled and to children in need of adoption. Cinemark Theatre in Rockwall will offer showings at 7 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, March 3-5.

The documentary tells the story of one South Korean pastor’s efforts to protect babies who might otherwise be abandoned on the streets or left to languish in government institutions. The Drop Box offers the hopeful message that every human life is sacred.

The full-length (120-minute) film also features a panel discussion that includes:  the film’s young director, Brian Ivie; recording artist and adoption advocate Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife, Mary Beth; and Focus on the Family president Jim Daly.

Film sponsor Focus on the Family hopes the film event and later viewing opportunities will call attention to the more than 150 million orphans worldwide, which includes about 100,000 children waiting for families in the U.S. foster-care system.
