ROCKWALL, TX (March 18, 2015) Nebbie Williams Elementary PTA, in partnership with the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, hosted its 2nd Annual Science Fair on Tuesday, March 17.
Participants delivered their projects to school on Monday, and volunteers from the Perot Museum of Nature and Science serving as judges arrived on campus Tuesday morning to review the projects and interview the students.
The awards ceremony was held Tuesday evening. Congratulations to all who participated. Our Champions (pictured above) were Kindergarten, Zander Moore; 1st/2nd grade, Autumn Hughes; 5th/6th grade, Hannah Moore; and 3rd/4th grade, Chaney Moore.
The Grand Champion was third grader Katharine Ortgies for her project, Strawberry DNA – A “Soapy” Experiment.
