ROCKWALL, TX (March 15, 2015) Congressman John Ratcliffe (TX-04) made a special visit to MidSouth Bank in Rockwall last week, shaking hands and talking with employees and customers.
“I can’t represent 700,000 Texans, unless I know and appreciate the concerns of as many of them as possible,” Congressman Ratcliffe said. “Community banks are an important part of the economic footprint of this district and a key facilitator of small business growth. Mid-South has several branches near my hometown, and I very much enjoyed my visit.”
Congressman Ratcliffe, who also toured a Home Depot and a medical equipment company last week, added that he has plans to visit small businesses across every corner of the 18 counties he represents.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to meet so many hard-working people across our district and look forward to every meeting my staff and I have. My goal is promote pro-growth policies that get the government out of the way, and allow their businesses to thrive,” he said.
