(MCLENDON-CHISHOLM, TX – April 7, 2015) Members of the McLendon-Chisholm City Council and city staff welcomed a good turnout to the groundbreaking ceremony for its new City Hall on Monday, April 7.
The near-$2 million facility, located on 15 acres at 1371 W FM 550 about half a mile off State Highway 205, will encompass 5,000 square feet and include a community room as well as a city council chamber. The council currently meets in a 600-square-foot building belonging to the volunteer fire department. The general contractor for the project, RAR Construction, estimates a time frame for completion between six to nine months.
