Grand opening event, ribbon cutting at Rockwall’s Trend Tower

(ROCKWALL, TX – May 30, 2015) Last Thursday Rockwall officially welcomed the new seven-story Trend Tower building at its grand opening event.

The office and retail space is currently 85% occupied, and Trend HR employees celebrated the building’s completion with tenants in a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, and an after party on the top floor.

Trend HR Vice President of Sales John Driscoll said he is enthusiastic about what the addition of the new building means for Trend HR and for Rockwall.

“This is a very proud moment for us,” Driscoll said. “It is the culmination of a lot of hard work. We are extremely excited about the opportunity. It’s a great way to identify Rockwall. It is Rockwall’s ‘crown jewel’ so to speak—it puts Rockwall on the map.”

Tenants enjoyed catering from Mi Cocina as they gazed out at a view of Lake Ray Hubbard from the top floor of the tower. The ribbon used in the ceremony was signed by many of the business owners and attendees.
