(ROCKWALL, TX – May 8, 2015) Rockwall High School student Alexandra Schrader has been selected by the Rockwall Art League to receive its annual $1000 scholarship. The RAL’S Tom Collins Fine Art Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior pursuing a career in 2-D, 3-D, graphic arts or an art-related field requiring higher education. Eligibility is also available for private and home schooled students within the RISD district boundaries.
“Once again this year there were many worthy applicants which always makes the decision very difficult,” wrote Darlene Dittoe, RAL. “We wish to congratulate her for her accomplishments and wish her the very best at the school of her choice, the University of Colorado at Boulder. “
Thom Loafman, President of RAL, will present Alexandra with her scholarship at the Awards Ceremony on May 28 at RHS.
