(ROWLETT, TX – May 19, 2015) The Rowlett Chamber of Commerce recognizes not only businesses who give outstanding service to the community, but also individual Chamber members who dedicate themselves to serving the community and Chamber.
This month the Chamber recognizes Michael Gallops as its May Business Member of the Month for his service.
Michael is a graduate of Leadership Class 19 and has served two terms on Rowlett City Council. He currently serves the council as Mayor Pro Tem. Michael is an active Ambassador for the Chamber. He participates on a regular basis with Chamber staff in making member visits and serves on the committees for both the Freedom 5K on Main and the Sunset Santa 5K. He is also very involved with several non profit Chamber members. He is very active with the Men & Ladies of Honor and recently made a trip to Africa with this organization. He currently works as a representative for Life Message getting the word out about how this organization helps those in need in the Rowlett community and beyond.
The Rowlett Chamber of Commerce thanks Michael for his service to the community and Chamber with recognition as its May Business Member of the Month.
