Sunday Brunch, 11am-2pm
Dodie’s at The Harbor now offers a Sunday morning brunch that combines southern Cajun comfort food with traditional breakfast favorites, creating a fusion of flavors that’s sure to add a wow factor to your weekends.
The brunch menu includes Chicken and Waffles (Cajun-fried chicken tenders and jalapeño waffles with Amaretto maple syrup); Crab Cake Benedict (poached egg served over crab cakes, smothered in a chipotle hollandaise sauce); a Cajun Scramble (scrambled eggs, Andouille sausage and red beans with toasted French bread); and Chocolate and Cinnamon French Toast, served with bourbon honey, powdered sugar, bacon and smoked Gouda grits.
A Cajun-inspired menu would not be complete without offering up a New Orleans tradition – Beignets covered with powdered sugar.
And of course Dodie’s is also serving up Sunday Brunch cocktails including the always refreshing Bloody Mary, Tequila Sunrise and Mimosa.
Weekly Specials, Just $13.95
In addition, Dodie’s continues to offer its weekly specials for $13.95 – available all summer long. Enjoy chef-inspired Shrimp & Grits (Sauteed Shrimp, onions and red bell peppers, served with smoked gouda grits; Stuffed Shrimp (Large shrimp stuff with homemade crab stuffing, topped with a creamy shrimp sauce and served with smoked gouda grits and broccoli; or the popular new favorite – Louisiana Style Pot Roast (seasoned with Cajun spices, slow cooked with onions and celery until tender, served with new potatoes and carrots).
Patio Pick-Up & Dockside Delivery
Dodie’s “To Go” services allow customers to take full advantage of the summer season at The Harbor. Customers can call in a to-go order and pick it up directly from the patio, without ever having to come inside, so that they can get back to enjoying their summer faster. This service is especially great for anyone who wants to enjoy The Harbor’s free Thursday night Concerts by the Lake with a plate of Dodie’s delicious food.
However, for customers who would prefer to dine in, Dodie’s covered patio overlooks the Harbor Amphitheater, lighthouse and lake, making it the perfect place to enjoy good food, great tunes and beautiful views.
Dodie’s will even deliver down to the docks for any boaters looking for a bite to eat from the comfort of their craft.
According to Dan Keils, general manager of Dodie’s, the restaurant’s new services are designed to add to the opportunities that summer presents to its customers.
“It’s important to us that our customers get the most of out of their lakeside dining experience, whether it be in the comfort of our restaurant, in the shade of our patio, on the lawn with live music, or on the water in their boats,” said Keils. “We hope that our Sunday brunch, our weekly specials, and our ‘to go’ services make it easy to enjoy summer fun at The Harbor while still making it convenient to enjoy our great food.”
