ROCKWALL,TX. (June 23, 2015) On June 19, the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its fourth Annual Rockwall Open CaddyShack Golf Tournament – including the women’s division “Divas & Divots.” Forty-five teams competed in the event, which was held at Buffalo Creek Golf Club. The tournament is a tradition among Rockwall’s finest business-minded golfers.
The festivities began with a pre-tournament Par-Tee sponsored by Timpa Law on June 18 where over 200 guests filled the seventh floor of TrendHR for entertainment, dinner, and an auction. The guests enjoyed a live performances by Jamie Timpa & The James and Matthew Middleton & Texas Drive Band. Gary Freedman served as auctioneer.
Beautiful weather supported this year’s 4th Annual Caddy Shack Golf Tournament. The Rockwall Chamber proudly recognizes the following winning teams:
Congratulations to MidSouth Bank on their first place finish! Baker Brothers Plumbing sponsor of the ‘Toilet Bowl’ challenge came in second place, and team Rockwall Economic Development Corporation captured third. The Rockwall High School ladies golf team took first place for Divas & Divots; congratulations to Sydney Garber, Katie Reeves, and Sheri Garber. Closest to the Pin was Scott Yarbrough from Team Tobacco Box. Justin Allen with Lake Pointe Medical captured the Longest Drive.
“The annual golf tournament has become a fun and popular event for us,” President Dana K. Macalik said. “Thanks to the generosity and support of the many Chamber partners and volunteers who made this possible. Proceeds support the efforts of the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce in our mission to advocate for businesses and economic growth for the area.”
