ROCKWALL,TX. (June 12, 2015) Rockwall Community Playhouse will host a Once Upon a Glow Run Fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 10 at Harry Myers Park, 827 Washington St. in Rockwall.
Currently located at 609 E. Rusk near downtown Rockwall, RCP is an intimate 84-seat theatre that produces 6 shows each season. All proceeds from the Once Upon A Glow Run will go toward building a new facility. RCP is partnering with the Rockwall Running Club to present this timed race. There will be prizes for best costumes, so come dressed as your favorite storybook character. Additional door prizes will be given throughout the night, as well as prizes for top male and top female in the 5K. The party will continue after the event with food trucks and a live band.
The cost of event for those who register prior to July 1: $25 for 5K, $15 for 1 mile walk. On the day of the race, registration: $30 for 5K and $20 for 1 mile. Deadline to register online is July 17, 2015. Sponsorships are available. Visit www.rockwallcommunityplayhouse.org.
