ROCKWALL, TX. (July 29, 2015) Mark your calendar for 6 p.m. Thursday, August 13th when Rockwall’s ADHD Support Group will meet at the Rockwall County Library to discuss getting kids prepared to go back to school. The guest facilitator for this meeting is Cini Abraham, M.D.
The purpose of the group is to connect parents of kids with ADHD. The group is open to the public and free of charge.
Dr. Abraham is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult as well as pediatric psychiatry. She completed her psychiatry residency from University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York. Subsequently, she specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. After completion of her training, she worked as a consult liaison psychiatrist at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and served as faculty for UT Southwestern Medical Center. She provided psychiatric consultation to children and adolescents with various medical disorders. During this time Dr. Abraham also enjoyed teaching students and being involved in clinical research. Dr. Abraham has been a resident of Texas since early childhood and in private practice since 2007.
