(ROCKWALL, TX – July 15, 2015) Rockwall resident Crystal White, who was crowned Mrs. Texas United America in 2014, has now earned the national title of Mrs United America – along with a Presidential Service Award for her volunteer efforts.
Crystal has dedicated her free time to numerous nonprofit organizations around the state of Texas. She says she was drawn to the United America organization because it aligned with her passion of giving back to her community and inspiring others to do the same.
On June 11, 2015, Crystal left for national competition in San Antonio after having represented her Mrs. Texas United America title at over 70 events and appearances for nonprofits.
Among the local organizations Crystal has supported are Women In Need, Rockwall County Helping Hands and New Beginning Center. She is also an accomplished executive in the National Defense industry, in pursuit of a PhD and an educational mentor for local university students. In addition to being busy with her career, community, and non-profit passions, she is also a writer and balances this while expecting her first child in October.
Crystal graced the United America stage with ladies from across the country. “I was so moved by the family atmosphere, the genuine unity, and the care that the United America contestants have towards one another. They were always supportive and considerate with my competing while I was five months pregnant. It truly is a UNITED organization that I am honored to be a part of,” Crystal said.
The United America Pageant organization seeks to award and recognize those who are inspirational role models. Crystal won a bronze Presidential award for her volunteer efforts in raising awareness and funds for area youth projects, raising awareness against domestic violence, and various nonprofit organizations. She also won the Pageantry Spirit Award and will be featured in and Pageantry Magazine.
Along with the prestigious awards, Crystal returned to her home in Rockwall having won the national title of Mrs. United America. She says she is very proud to have the honor to represent the married ladies across the nation and be involved in as many nonprofit organizations as possible.
