(ROCKWALL, TX – August 7, 2015) The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Nancy Parkes as its Ambassador of the Month.
Ambassadors help welcome and serve new Chamber Partners. They are measured on a point system based on the activity that they generate helping members become involved and engaged. In addition to working directly with their assigned Partners, they volunteer hours and gain points for attending and assisting with Chamber events. The top point earner is determined at the end of each month, and then honored the following month.
Nancy Parkes, Realtor for Coldwell Banker Apex, has been named August 2015 Ambassador of the Month. As a relatively new resident to the Rockwall community, Nancy has jumped in ‘feet first’ into the Chamber happenings and community volunteerism. As an Ambassador, Nancy has played a big role in events such as Chamber’s golf tournament, Partnership luncheons, and the upcoming RISD New Teacher/Employee breakfast. With over 30 years as a business professional, Nancy has experience in mortgage, banking and financial service fields, she has demonstrated strong leadership skills in problem solving, relationship building, and resourcefulness to achieve success.
A northeast gal who was raised in Rochester NY, Nancy moved to Rockwall in January of this year with her husband David and is excited about becoming part of a growing community. She is eager to meet and develop new relationships and enjoys volunteering. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys traveling and spending time with her two grown children, Rachel and John.
