Friends of the Rockwall County Library welcome Ms Senior Texas

(ROCKWALL, TX – September 11, 2015) Friends of the Rockwall County Library recently held their first meeting of the 2015-2016 year. President Gloria Bishop focused on forward movement, fundraising, fun and fellowship with a hilarious presentation by Jill Rumbley Beam, newly crowned Ms Senior Texas, entitled “Growing Up Rumbley.” She opened with a flute solo “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast and went on to share her family experiences with the spellbound audience.

The full room of members and their guests also learned about the “I Believe in Friends Because” campaign that will encourage members to share their love for the library with everyone they know. Hopefully, this will prompt more people to join Friends of the Rockwall County Library.

Membership dues are a large part of our fundraising efforts. If you have not renewed your membership or would like to join FOL, you may pick up a brochure at the front desk or in the lobby of the Rockwall County Library, fill it out and submit a check, or go to their website at friendsrockwall.com and click on Membership, complete a form online and use a credit card for payment.
