(ROYSE CITY, TX – September 8, 2015) Tap into Royse City at the second annual Texas Microfest, happening 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 17. There will be 20 craft breweries with over 100 beers, ciders and wines.
This year’s event will include 100 styles of beer to be served in 2 oz. samples. Three local DFW bands will be playing throughout the day. The Driftin’ Outlaw Band begins the day at 2 p.m.; Water Sign takes the stage at 4; and Thieves of Sunrise concludes the evening at 6. Two food trucks will be onsite as well. Micfest also features FireWheel Brewing in Rowlett, which has a tap room open weekly. Both breweries usually have live music and food trucks.
Finally, introducing Rockwall’s newest brewery, Woodcreek Brewing, will bring a selection of six beers. Check them all out on Facebook.
