(HEATH, TX – October 16, 2015) Members of the Heath City Council, Heath Economic Development Corporation and Rockwall Chamber celebrated the ground breaking of Hidden Creek, a new 8,000 square-foot special events facility located on five of the 25 acres owned by the Heath Municipal Development Corporation along Chris Cuny Parkway.

“This is a model for private-public partnerships, and a win-win for everyone involved,” said Heath Mayor Lorne Liechty at the ground breaking. “By leasing the site to the owners of Hidden Creek, the Heath MBC will protect its investment in the land, help a desirable business get started which will provide an event venue for our citizens, and bring additional tax revenue into the City.  We are very excited about having this wonderful new amenity in our community.”

The charming Texas-style venue will be situated on manicured grounds with lush gardens and landscaping that create a Hill Country feel.  A full scope of services for weddings, corporate functions and celebrations of all kinds include high-tech A/V systems, a stage for live bands and DJ’s and large dance floor.

“With all of these amenities and flexibility, Hidden Creek can handle every type of event large or small,” said Isaac Mathia, owner/director of Hidden Creek. “No matter what the occasion, our team is well prepared and equipped to create wonderful memories.”
