Project will add additional pavement, new surface to FM 548

(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – Nov 6, 2015) In an ongoing effort to enhance state roadways and improve safety, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) approved a contract to rehabilitate and resurface FM 548 from SH 205 to SH 66.

The contract for the $13.7 million project was awarded to Zachry Construction Corp, LLC.

Construction dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and the contractor.

Submitted by the City of Rockwall.
