(ROCKWALL, TX – Dec. 2, 2015) Local residents Charles and Oleta Peace received a pleasant surprise delivery from Meals On Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County on Wednesday, Dec. 2, in honor of the couple’s 72nd wedding anniversary.
MOWSS Executive Director Margie VerHagen, weekly volunteer Tamara Dirske, Case Manager Maureen Cook, and Board member Rockwall Fire Marshal Ariana Hargrove dropped in and delivered a beautifully-decorated cake and a special plaque reading “To have and to hold,” along with the nutritious meals for Charles and Oleta – longtime clients of MOWSS – to celebrate their special day.
