Helping Hands Disaster Relief Update

(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – Dec. 31, 2015) A message from Helping Hands of Rockwall County

“The generosity of Rockwall County residents has been overwhelming. We have collected countless boxes of donations to support those enduring the effects of Saturday’s disaster. Because of your gifts, we have been able to serve many families affected by the tornadoes over this past weekend. We have an abundance of clothing that we will continue to disburse to families in need.

At this time, Helping Hands has reached capacity to accept disaster relief clothing donations. Therefore, we request that disaster relief donations be made in monetary form. Your checks can be made out to Rockwall County Helping Hands noted as “Disaster Relief” in the memo. Checks can be mailed to P.O Box 375, Rockwall, Texas 75087 or you can donate online at RockwallHelpingHands.com.

The Helping Hands organization is prepared to serve the families of our community over the coming weeks and months. It is because of our most generous and selfless community residents that we can fulfill our mission during this most devastating time. The stories that are coming from this event continue to be a testament to our mission. We are proud to be part of this community and this organization.

Thank you on behalf of the staff and Board of Directors of Helping Hands.
