(ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 19, 2016) With many businesses and individuals throughout the community pitching in to aid those affected by the Dec. 26 tornado, Rockwall Shooters Supply looks to help out in perhaps an overlooked aspect of the tornado relief effort: firearms repair.
For individuals whose firearms may have suffered damage during the tornado, Rockwall Shooters Supply – located at 123 Kenway St. – is offering free firearm insurance appraisal for firearm damage or loss, and free diagnostic service to check for any damage to the firearm. Folks can also receive a special discount for repairs to firearms damaged by the storm.
“There’s a lot of companies out there now helping with roof repair and that sort of thing, but I haven’t heard of any that are helping people out with their firearm needs, and I want to be able to accommodate them on that,” said Will Dahl with Rockwall Shooters Supply.
Dahl said the gun shop will also help firearms owners to activate the $2,500 worth of firearms care insurance coverage that comes with a basic NRA (National Rifle Association) membership, and provide free storage and pickup of firearms in a safe location for those who lost their homes to the tornado and have nowhere safe to store their guns.
