(ROWLETT, TX – Jan. 7, 2016) Two Rowlett schools have been cleared after being placed on full lockdown around 11 a.m. today.
This occurred after someone made a call into an internal Garland ISD radio and advised Coyle Middle School to go into lockdown. Rowlett police were called to the scene and found no threats or incidents. Officials are investigating who called into the radio and why.
As a precaution, nearby Stephens Elementary was also put on lockdown.
