Rockwall junior Sierra Jordan advances to ‘Call Back Auditon’ round on The Voice

(ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 10, 2016) Rockwall High School junior Sierra Jordan, 16, has advanced to the “Call Back Audition” round on NBC’s The Voice, with her renditions of the Dixie Chick’s “Cowboy Take Me Away” and Faith Hill’s “Like We Never Loved At All.”

There’s no doubt these songs suit her perfectly, for Sierra is country at heart. The eldest of four siblings, she is a member of Rockwall’s Future Farmers of America, Peer Assisted Leadership (PALS), Texas High School Rodeo Association Region 4 and Winners Youth Rodeo Association – where she competes in barrel racing, pole bending and goat tying. She was a State Qualifier in 2015 and competed in pole bending as a sophomore in the Texas High School Rodeo State finals.

Sierra has performed at local churches and was a hit at the McLendon-Chisholm Country Fest.

Sierra’s parents are Steve and Amanda Jordan of Rockwall.

Stay tuned to The Voice to cheer on one of Rockwall’s own!
