(ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 14, 2016) Ismael Medina, a sixth grade student at Springer Elementary School, was recognized by the Rockwall Noon Rotary Club today as a Rotary Student of Honor. He was presented the award during a luncheon program at Rotary Hall.
Assistant Principal Kelli Crossland spoke about Ismael’s character and academic accomplishments.
“Ismael was chosen very quickly for this honor. All of his teacher said that other than being a great student, Ismael als has great spirit. He’s a hard worker and a good role model. Another teacher said he’s been her favorite student since he was very little,” Crossland said.
