Call for Entries: Uptown Downtown Art Gallery Juried Small Works Show

(ROCKWALL, TX – Feb. 16, 2016) The Uptown Downtown Art Gallery and Studio, located in the heart of historic and newly renovated downtown Rockwall, presents the Juried small works show, March 18 through April 17. Entry deadline is March 12.

This show will include an awards ceremony scheduled in conjunction with “Celebrate Downtown” festivities on April 16 – which includes art, music, food, fun and shopping.

Eligibility:

Open to all artists in the DFW and surrounding areas. Maximum of 3 entries per artist, all media accepted that could be hung on a wall. All work must be original to the artist and completed by the artist.

*All work must be ready to exhibit and have label attached to back. No wet or unfinished work will be accepted. All work must be gallery ready and wired for hanging.

*All works must be available for purchase.

Maximum size:

Submitted work may not exceed 12 inches on any side, (including frame) and not weigh over 20 lbs.

Non-refundable entry fees of $20 per piece and ($50) for three pieces. Pay by Check made out to the gallery and mail along with your signed entry. (Entries)

Delivery of work: All work should be hand delivered to the gallery during hours of operation.

*Waiver of liability and hold harmless Agreement

In consideration for allowing my artwork to be displayed: I hereby release, waive, discharge, the Uptown Downtown Gallery from any and all liability relating to any loss or damage to my art and personal property on display/exhibited.

Note: Submission of artwork indicates artist’s agreement with terms and conditions of this exhibition.

My signature acknowledges that I agree to and understand the waiver of liability.

The co owners of the gallery will jury the show: H.Doug Agee, Bob Chilton, Betty Jean Hoaglund, James Kuntz and Nancy Kuntz.

The final judging will be done the week of April 8^th, 2016.

Notification of acceptance via email March 13^th, 2016.

All sales will be made directly to the artist. The Uptown Downtown Gallery and Studio will NOT be taking any commission from the proceeds of the sales
