Nathan Hodges announces run for McLendon-Chisholm Mayor

(MCLENDON-CHISHOLM, TX – March 17, 2016) Nathan E. Hodges, DDS, MS, has announced that he will run for Mayor of McLendon-Chisholm in the upcoming election, May 7, 2016.

Hodges has been a long-time resident of McLendon-Chisholm. His family moved to town when he was a child in 1978 and he later graduated from Rockwall High School. Nathan’s father, Charles E Hodges, served as Mayor of McLendon-Chisholm during the 1980’s and Nathan saw his father make a positive difference in our community during that time.

After Nathan completed his undergraduate degree, he continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry graduating with honors with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, then a Masters of Science and Specialty Certificate. Now a board-certified periodontist, he has a private practice locally for over 10 years. He is a leader in the dental community and frequently speaks to groups of dental professionals on the field of periodontics and dental implants. He is also active in organized dentistry, being a member of the ADA, AAP, SWSP, and a Diplomate of the International Team for Implantology. Nathan has also been active in dental missions projects both local and internationally.

He has been married to his wife Beth since 2001 and they have two sweet daughters, Lily Faith and Autumn Grace. Bringing his family back to his home, Nathan and his family have been residents of McLendon-Chisholm since 2011. His hobbies include spending time with his wife and daughters, physical fitness, and spending time outdoors.

Nathan is excited about the chance to serve in the same community in which he grew up. Becoming mayor would be an incredible opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on the city and citizens of McLendon-Chisholm.
