Community invited to Helping Hands Open House Thursday

(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – April 4, 2016) Rockwall County Helping Hands will host an Open House event from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 7. The community is invited to come tour the newly relocated and expended Assistance & Referral Center and Food Pantry located at 102 S. First Street, Rockwall.

Please join Helping Hands to learn more about Helping Hand’s commitment to providing sufficient resources to make a significant difference for families in Rockwall County. During this event, guests will tour the food pantry and learn in more detail how Helping Hands programs work. Through this event Rockwall County Helping Hands will share what you can do to help others in the community.

Celebrate Downtown

Don’t forget to come out to the ‘Celebrate Downtown Rockwall’ event on Saturday, April 16. The parade kicks off the day at 12 p.m., “Rockwall Through the Decades” – a then and now themed parade showcasing significant events from the 50’s to now! Rockwall County Helping Hands will be groovin’ in the 70’s portion of these festivities.
