Rockwall County Sheriff Harold Eavenson Endorses Candidate Mark Kipphut for McLendon-Chishom City Council

(ROCKWALL, TX – April 25, 2016) Mark Kipphut announced today that he has received a strong endorsement from Rockwall Sheriff Harold Eavenson due to his senior military and executive business leadership experience, as well as, his long history of service to the nation and the communities where he lived. Sheriff Eavenson expressed complete confidence in Kipphut in his election campaign for McLendon-Chishom City Council Place 2.

Sheriff Eavenson added “Mark spent 26 years in the military defending our country, the Constitution and our liberties. When it comes to keeping families safe in McLendon-Chisholm, I know that Mark is the right man for the job.” Kipphut brings the knowledge and commitment needed to make our city and its families safe and secure.

Sheriff Eavenson strongly believes in Kipphut and his commitment to law enforcement and other first responders. He noted he was impressed that Kipphut has invested time and energy to become knowledgeable of the range of issues law enforcement faces every day across North Texas and in Rockwall County and looks forward to working with him.

His extensive experience in security issues will assist McLendon-Chisholm to remain a safe family orientated community that benefits all residents. “The election on May 7th is about our city and our future — it would be my honor to represent this wonderful community on their City Council,” said Kipphut.

“I am honored Sheriff Eavenson endorsed my campaign,” said Kipphut. “As our city continues to grow and we add new homes and communities, we will need innovative ways to work closely with the Rockwall County Sheriff on a range of issues from patrolling and response, to emergency management and traffic without adding additional tax burdens. Kipphut is focused on public safety to improve McLendon-Chisholm’s ability to prevent crime and be more prepared to respond to emergencies and natural disasters. The recent tragic events in Rowlett highlights the need to be prepared for natural disasters and our relationships with the Rockwall County will be essential in providing timely warning, coordinated emergency response and recovery.
