(ROCKWALL, TX – May 9, 2016) Utley Middle School student Julia Blevins has been recognized by the Rockwall Noon Rotary Club as a Rotary Student of Honor. She was presented with the award during the April 28th luncheon program at Rotary Hall.
Utley Principal Tom Bradford spoke to the crowd about Julia’s accomplishments. Julia is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, plays the violin in the Symphonic Orchestra, and serves as Captain of the Utley Drill Team. She won the American Dance/Drill Team’s National Solo Champion Award for Utley Middle School in March. Next year, Julia will attend Rockwall-Heath High School where she will serve as First Lieutenant of the Starstepper Drill Team. Julia has been dancing for 10 years and is currently on the competitive dance team with Mpact Dance Company Seniors, under the direction of Mallory Mills.
