Cowboy Chicken kicks off Wylie grand opening with weeklong celebration

Eatery hosts July 11 fundraiser to support Rebuild Wylie following hailstorms

(WYLIE, TX – July 7, 2016) Dallas-based rotisserie chicken restaurant Cowboy Chicken will celebrate its recent opening at 3360 W. FM 544 #950 in Wylie, Texas, by hosting a five-day grand opening celebration offering daily discounts and promotions (for dine-in only) Monday, July 11, through Friday, July 15.

In an effort to support Wylie’s rebuilding process, Cowboy Chicken will kick off the week with a fundraiser Monday, July 11 (11 a.m.-9 p.m.), to benefit Rebuild Wylie, which has been instrumental in assisting more than 500 families as they rebuild homes following the massive hailstorms that struck the city earlier this year.

“The week of grand opening events, along with the fundraiser, will allow us to meet our new neighbors and help an organization that’s given so much back to the community,” said Cowboy Chicken owner and operator Jimmy Hajeer. “We encourage all our new neighbors to show their support by joining in on the fun and experiencing our signature wood-fired chicken firsthand.”

MONDAY, JULY 11 – DINE TO DONATE
We’re kicking off the grand opening celebration with a feel-good initiative!
25 percent of all proceeds will go to Rebuild Wylie.

TUESDAY, JULY 12 – KIDS NIGHT
Kids eat free with any adult entree purchase.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 13 – HOMETOWN HEROES DAY
All members of law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, nurses, doctors, and active and veteran military personnel will receive 50 percent off their purchase. Just show your ID or badge for the discount!

THURSDAY, JULY 14 – DRESS LIKE A DALLAS COWBOY DAY
Dress in your favorite Dallas Cowboys jersey, T-shirt or hat for a free individual cobbler!

FRIDAY, JULY 15 – CAMPFIRE CLUB INSIDER DAY

The 2,494-square-foot restaurant is open daily 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and features all-natural, hormone-free rotisserie chickens that are hand-seasoned in-store, marinated for 24 hours and then slowly roasted for two hours over a real wood-burning fire. Dishes include signature sour cream tomatillo chicken enchiladas, abundant scratch-made sides such as Twice Baked Potaters™, Baked Mac & Cheese and Ranchero Beans, and seasonal cobblers baked in-house daily.

Guests can receive Cowboy Chicken’s renowned Peach Cobbler for free by simply signing up for the Campfire Club, which emails fans monthly coupons, discounts, news and promotions.
