NEW “DFW Restaurant Week Food & Wine Festival” to Kick-Off Summer’s Hottest Dining Event

(DALLAS, TX – July 13, 2016) The countdown is on for the start of summer’s hottest dining event — the 19th annual DFW Restaurant Week presented by Your Metroplex Cadillac Dealers.

The official list of participating restaurants will be unveiled on Reservation Day, next Monday, July 18, when diners can begin booking lunch and dinner reservations for Aug. 15-21 and beyond.

DFW Restaurant Week supports the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) in the Dallas area and Lena Pope in Tarrant County, with proceeds from each meal benefiting the charities’ work to help local children and families in need. This year’s campaign will launch with an exciting new DFW Restaurant Week Food & Wine Festival.

DFW Restaurant Week Food & Wine Festival – Aug. 12-13

The first-ever DFW Restaurant Week Food & Wine Festival presented by VisitDallas.com will officially kick-off DFW Restaurant Week with two-evenings of food and fun. Attendees will enjoy a variety of culinary experiences by top restaurants, domestic and international wines, cocktails and more. Live entertainment will include Big Bad VooDoo Daddy and Magic! “DFW Restaurant Week provides critical funds for our counseling and education programs while also supporting local restaurants at a traditionally slower time of year,” said Lena Pope CEO Todd A. Landry. “By dining out for a cause, DFW Restaurant Week supporters helped us provide more than 1,400 counseling sessions and helped us educate over 600 kids last year.
