Rockwall Chamber names Ambassador of the Month

(ROCKWALL, TX – Aug. 16, 2016) The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Diane Porter with Weight Off For Life as its Ambassador of the Month for July 2016.

Rockwall Chamber Ambassadors welcome new Chamber Partners and help them become involved and engaged. Ambassadors are the face of the Chamber and promote Chamber and community awareness. They are measured on a point system based on the activity that they generate by helping our members and volunteering at Chamber events. The top point earner is determined at the end of each month, and then honored the following month.

Diane Porter, founder and owner of Weight Off for Life, in its 9th year of service with an office in Rockwall, Texas, serves as an Independent Certified Health Coach and Regional Director, with Take Shape for Life and Optavia. Weight off for Life incorporates the Take Shape for Life/Optavia program, the FREE and professional coaching division of Medifast, a publicly held company in business for over 40 years.

She is certified through COPE, a partnership with Take Shape for Life, the MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention and Education and the College of Nursing at Villanova University. She coaches individuals to optimal health on a local, statewide and national level and offers her services at no charge to the clients she serves.

She sponsors and mentor’s health coaches nationwide who also have the passion to help others with their health. She has a super strong passion to make a difference in the health of America, one person at a time and has helped thousands of women and men of all ages, including teens and children transform their lives, with great enthusiasm. She is one of over 12,000 independent health coaches nationwide and serves her clients and other health coaches on a nationwide basis.

Diane graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Texas Woman‛s University in Dallas, Texas with a Master of Science in Nursing. She has earned an applied clinical nutrition certification.

She has lived in Rockwall for the last 12 years and loves this community. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters, son-in-laws and four grandchildren. She loves to travel internationally as well as a round of golf every so often.
