(ROCKWALL, TX – Nov. 29, 2016) Eight new volunteers for Lone Star CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) were sworn in on Monday, November 21st. CASA volunteers complete 30 hours of training, including court observance, a tour of CPS and a visit to a children’s emergency shelter. Lone Star CASA volunteers advocate for children in foster care in Kaufman and Rockwall counties.
