(ROCKWALL, TX – Dec. 7, 2016) Vinny Barber, a representative from Pin Cancer – a nonprofit organization which raises funds for cancer research through the sport of wrestling –  was on hand Saturday at Rockwall High School for a special presentation before the finals at the Rumble at the Rock.

The Rockwall Wrestling program gave a check to Pin Cancer for over $5,600.  The money was raised through sponsorships and donations to help in the fight against cancer, including the “War on the Shore” Nov. 12 at The Harbor.  The event saw Rockwall and Lovejoy youth, middle school and high school wrestlers battle it out on the mat at The Harbor spray park. All the money raised will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to support research initiatives and patient care.
