(ROCKWALL, TX – December 12, 2016) Weather permitting, the Texas Department of Transportation will perform traffic switch operations Tuesday, December 13, on Ralph Hall Parkway and Rockwall Parkway off of FM 3097 (Horizon Road) that will necessitate various lane closures between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Traffic will be switched onto new pavement at each intersection in order to continue construction on the other part of the intersection.
This is part of the project to reconstruct and widen Horizon Road to four lanes between Tubbs Road and FM 740. The project is expected to be complete in the summer of 2017.
Backups could occur and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
