(ROCKWALL, TX – April 5, 2017) The Rockwall High School A Cappella Group, Walk the Line, won the Varsity Vocals International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) semi-final competition at Marcus HS. They are now recognized as one of the (Top 8) A Cappella Groups in the nation.
“These kids were truly outstanding,” said Rockwall High School Choir Director Leia Browning. “We are so excited to represent the Southwest Region at the National ICHSA Competition and we are going to work extremely hard in the coming weeks to bring home that title.”
Walk the Line will travel to New York City April 20–23 to compete with the other semi-final winners from around the country in hopes of winning the ICHSA National Title.
Walk the Line was also featured on the radio today on Fast in the Morning, KVIL – AMP 103.7, Kids got to sing, interview, and help with the entertainment segment “Fast Four.”
