(ROCKWALL, TX – July 21, 2017) Matthew Spraggins of Rockwall, aka Soda-Pop McBop, earned ‘Best In Clown’ at the recent Clowns of America International Convention in Kansas City, Missouri.
He won first place in parade competition and People’s Choice for parade competition, too, performing as a blind referee calling penalties. He received third place in both Full Face and Cheek Art in the face painting competitions. He took second place in balloon twisting for balloon arrangements, as well as fifth place in single balloon design. He also placed fifth in overall skit competition.
In total, Soda-Pop McBob took home seven ribbons a huge plaque and more friends than he can ever begin to thank for supporting and encouraging him.
