Meet-and-Greet set for 3 to 6:30 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday
(ROCKWALL, TX – Oct. 4, 2017) Our hometown’s very own Rockwall School of Music is one of over 600 Music Schools across all 50 states and Canada that will be participating in the 3rd Annual “Kids Music Day” Weekend on Oct. 6 ansd 7. During this weekend, the Rockwall School of Music, along with the organization Keep Music Alive invites individuals of all ages to explore their musical passion by dropping in for a Meet-and-Greet with some of their professional staff.
As part of the Meet-and-Greet, participants will receive gifts, refreshments, free information from local music professionals and much more. Anyone who is interested in learning to play an instrument is also encouraged to speak with the director of the school to schedule a try-me-out lesson.
Teach Music America Week is held every year at this time. Teach Music America Week will be going global in 2018 and become part of International Teach Music Week.
