(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – March 24, 2018) The Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall Fitness Court officially opened at Robert Smith Family Park in Fate this morning. This free outdoor gym – designed for ages 14 and up and all ability levels – features seven movement stations (core, squats, push, pull, lunge, bend, and agility) to be completed in seven minutes, allowing users to leverage their body weight at different angles and levels of resistance.
The gym facility also includes a mobile app which makes it easy to personalize every workout. The app lets you select music from your own music playlist and features videos of personal trainers detailing the movements to 7, 14, and 21-minute workouts.

The City of Fate eamed up with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall to install the National Fitness Campaign Fitness Court at Robert Smith Family Park.
Connected to the three quarters of a mile looped trail at the park, this state-of-the-art American-made Fitness Court allows anyone to get a free world-class full body workout in just seven minutes.
President of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall Cindy Perrin said the Fitness Court embodies Texas Health’s mission in providing quality care for friends and neighbors of Rockwall County and focusing on improving health before problems begin.
“Because we fully recognize the significant health benefits of an active lifestyle, we are honored to partner with the City of Fate to encourage and support a healthy lifestyle and help to provide services that will improve the lives of residents of all ages,” Perrin said. “Bottom line: we’re with you in sickness and in health!”
