(ROCKWALL, TX – July 26, 2018) Rockwall High School head football coach Rodney Webb was named the new president of the Texas High School Coaches Association on Tuesday afternoon. This will be Coach Webb’s sixth season as the head man of the Rockwall Yellowjackets. He has reached the playoffs all previous five seasons.
Webb’s overall record at Rockwall High School is 40-23 which includes 5 straight winning seasons. Highlights for Coach Webb as the Rockwall Head Coach include the Yellowjackets undefeated regular season in 2014, reaching the regional quarterfinals in 2015 and winning at least one playoff game every season as the Jackets Head Coach.
“It’s a tremendous honor to able to represent my school, my community, and my state as the newly elected President of the Texas High School Coaches Association” says Webb.
The Rockwall Yellowjackets will open the season on August 31 at Highland Park.
