(GARLAND ISD, TX – August 1, 2018) Garland ISD is partnering with the NAACP Garland Unit to get students ready for 2018-19.
This year’s Health Fair and Back-to-School Rally will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Curtis Culwell Center. The annual one-stop shop equips families with information and resources, including school supplies for preregistered attendees. Additional offerings:
- Free clothing for students and parents
- Free health screenings
- Low-cost immunizations
- GISD and community resource booths
- Games, interactive demonstrations and more
Registration for free school supplies is open until Friday, Aug. 3. Sign up on the event’s website.
