Rockwall EDC and Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce partner to bring over 1000 potential job seekers to 2018 event
(ROCKWALL, TX – August 7, 2018) If you are looking for talent to fill your open positions in Rockwall County, the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation today announced it is now accepting employer registrations for this year’s event, which will take place on Sept. 14, 2018 at the Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall. With over 450 attendees at the 2017 event, this year’s job fair is expected to more than double, bringing in over 1,000 job seekers in a variety of fields.
This year’s event is expected double in size due to its expanded marketing and the partnership between the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation and The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition to attracting key positions in finance, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, the event will also feature a new part-time pavilion geared towards those looking to hire temporary, part-time or seasonal work.
In addition to the low entry cost of $350 for standard booth amenities, employers will receive substantial exposure via social media and marketing materials from these lucrative partnerships once registered for the event. More advanced marketing opportunities and premium booth locations are also available upon request.
“Rockwall is a thriving area of the country, growing year over year,” says Matt Wavering, Director of Project Development for the Rockwall EDC. “The result has been an influx of potential candidates working for companies both within and outside of Rockwall County. This year’s event is an opportunity to keep those people working closer to home, in Rockwall, and for employers to meet hundreds of job seekers all in one place.”
This event is geared specifically toward employers and positions located within Rockwall County, which is a prerequisite for participating at the 2018 event.
Given that key spots fill quickly, employers are encouraged to register as soon as possible at www.rockwalljobs.com/employer-registration. The deadline for online registration is Sept. 1, 2018. After this date, the few remaining spots available may only be claimed by phone.
