Area Agency on Aging Chronic Disease Self-Management Series for Volunteer Leader Training
(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – Sept. 14, 2018) If you want to become healthier and assist others to do the same, become a certified leader for the Chronic Disease Self-Management and Diabetes Self-Management Programs.
Training is free and no prior teaching or medical experience is required. Volunteers must attend the first four days of training to become certified and must attend the additional fifth day to become certified in Diabetes Self-Management.
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension is hosting the event for Hunt and Rockwall Counties at the Rockwall A&M AgriLife Extension Meeting Room on October 22, 23, 29, 30 and 31, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Due to limited space, registration is required.
