(ROCKWALL, TX – October 22, 2018) Jones Elementary recently hosted a successful Fall Family Night. Different grade levels set up reading activities for the students and families to enjoy.
One station included an in-depth look at The Hungry Caterpillar followed by the creation of a caterpillar headband.
Other stations included showing how to access books from different devices, suggesting good books to read, and using critical thinking while reading.
The 3rd grade team even had out a touchscreen device to show families the biographical videos that students made using Flipgrid. Students also received a new, free book to add to their home library! It was an awesome night, and we can’t wait for the next one on January 31st.
