(ROCKWALL, TX – Nov. 9, 2018) On November 3rd, 39 Williams Choir students participated in the Rockwall ISD Solo Contest at Utley Middle School, which they have been diligently preparing for over the past six weeks.
Thirty seven of WMS’ 39 soloists received ratings of 1 (Superior) – the highest rating given, and two received ratings of 2 (Excellent). Seven students received Outstanding Soloist Nominations by their judges; they are Amby Saenz, Paulet Del Castillo, Kaitlyn Joseph, Sophia Garner, Nailah Vaughn, Tyreece Price, and Robbie Mosley. Austin Harvey and Jenna Nega received Outstanding Soloist Awards – meaning that they were chosen as THE outstanding soloist in their room for the entire day!
