(ROCKWALL, TX – Dec. 17, 2018) Second graders at Pullen Elementary recently took first place at the Third Annual Rockwall ISD Sculpture Show with their Chihuly-style “sea form” sculpture.
While learning about symmetry, the students painted several coffee filters with liquid watercolors and tie dye ink and attached the filters in a circular movement pattern on a sheet of plywood with hot glue, making more than 500 painted filters to fill the space.
