Bennie Daniels files for re-election to Rockwall City Council

(ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 21, 2019) Rockwall City Council member Bennie Daniels filed for re-election to the Council in the May 2019 election.

Council member Daniels previously served two terms (2011-2015) on the Council and is currently serving, having been elected in 2017.

During his time on the Council, Bennie Daniels has worked with the Mayor, other Council members and the city staff to keep the tax rate low. He has championed the need for a safe city by initiating and supporting actions to strengthen both the Police and Fire Departments. He also strongly supports the improvements for the City’s infrastructure.

Council member Daniels recognizes that Rockwall’s population will continue to increase as the Metroplex expands. In this regard, he supports planned, managed growth which will protect the current residents and businesses while providing opportunities for others to become part of the great city of Rockwall.
