(FATE, TX – March 18, 2019) The City of Fate is working with the National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) to participate in the National Citizen Survey. Residents are being asked to participate during the coming weeks. Completion of the survey gives City Council insight to what areas citizens feel the city needs to focus on.
A random selection of 1,600 Fate households will receive a paper survey in the mail. Surveys will be sent out twice to those households to ensure they receive it and to give them multiple chances to fill it out. An online opt-in survey will be available mid-April to citizens who did not receive a paper survey. Citizens are encouraged to take the time to complete the anonymous paper or online survey.
Residents have until May 3 to complete the survey. After that time, the National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) will analyze the data and compile reports to be presented in late June.
These scientific surveys will be instrumental in guiding the city’s direction. Citizens will have the chance to comment on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the community and city government in the following areas: Economic Development, Public Safety, Infrastructure, Attractive Built Environment, Community Investment Opportunities, Public Trust, Transparency and Accountability.
