Star Transit Receives State Honor

(TERRELL, TX – May 2, 2019) Congratulations to STAR Transit’s Board of Directors and staff for receiving the 2019 Texas Transit Association’s Outstanding Rural Transit System award. This award is given to public transportation systems that have designed and implemented programs that demonstrate innovative concepts or effective problem-solving techniques and have applied these successfully in the public transportation industry. Awards were given out at the 2019 TTA & SWTA Freedom Through Transit Annual Conference, Expo and Roadeo in El Paso. STAR Transit also won this award in 2012.
